Procurement for the Design and Build of the New Licungo River Bridge and Mocuba Bypass Road

Millennium Challenge Account – Mozambique (MCA-Mozambique), under the Rural Connectivity and Transport Project (CTR), announces the procurement process for the Design and Build of the New Licungo River Bridge, covering 1.8 km, and the Mocuba Bypass Road, covering 17.2 km, in Zambezia Province. The procurement, reference number MOZ-26-2002, will be conducted through the Quality and Price-Based Selection (QPBS) method. Offers must be submitted electronically by 3:00 p.m. Mozambique time on August 3, 2026.

    Millennium Challenge Account – Mozambique (MCA-Mozambique) publishes Addendum No. 1 to the Bidding Document for procurement process MOZ-26-2002, concerning the Design and Build of the New Licungo River Bridge, covering 1.8 km, and the Mocuba Bypass Road, covering 17.2 km, in Zambezia Province.

    The addendum introduces amendments to the Bidding Document, including the extension of the offer submission deadline to 17 August 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Mozambique time, and the public opening of offers on the same day at 4:00 p.m. It also includes updates to the instructions to offerors, qualification and evaluation criteria, equipment requirements, submission forms, contractual provisions and supplementary information provided by the Employer.
